Who is Jesus

Who is Jesus?

The life and death of Jesus was the fulfilment of over 300 prophecies in the Bible. All of these many prophets spoke at least 400 years before Jesus was born. These include: - Jesus was born in Bethlehem and was a descendant of King David. He would come from Egypt after escaping from Herod’s slaughter and be a Nazarene. Someone would be sent before Him to prepare the way for His message. The Spirit of God would be upon Him, He would heal the sick and open the eyes of the blind. He spoke in parables, preaching in and around Galilee; but the people would not hear or understand Him: they would despise and reject Him! Jesus would enter Jerusalem on a donkey with the crowds crying “Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” He was to be betrayed by a friend for 30 pieces of silver, tried and condemned to death; but he was silent before His accusers even while being beaten, mocked and spat on! He was then crucified on a cross with criminals, his clothes being divided by lots. None of His bones were broken he was surrounded by His enemies who looked on Him whom they had pierced. The prophets said He would cry “My God, my God why has thou forsaken me?” and when He thirsted they would give Him vinegar with hyssop to drink. He was then buried in a rich man's grave only to rise from the dead three days later to ascended into Heaven and sit at God's Right Hand.

These same prophets and Jesus Himself said that He will be coming back again to judge the living and the dead! Can you deny or ignore the testimony of the only man in history who fulfilled all these separate prophecies and many more! What will you do with this Jesus?
